The flourish of vehicle navigation systems has become a vital branch of global satellite navigation application, and it is a main direction of mobile GIS applications. As the navigation data play a key role in the vehicle navigation systems, it is very important to define the map data with logical structure and physical storage format, and builds the upper layer of CarNavi or mobile GIS applications.This thesis was based on the research of GPS navigation model .It is one module of Car-navi Information System which is fund by Ministry of Information Industry(MII).This system contain four field such as GPS, Bluetooth, GSM/GPRS and Car-media technology .Meanwhile we did some work on ameliorate of the transplant capability and application pattern of this module.And finished the function validate for the new design of portable navigation equipment.It brings forward a reasonable data format and model for domestic navigation applications based on fully study on the common used navigation data formats, such as GDF and KIWI. And advance the processing model of this data format with put forward a binding prototype framework of navigation equipment and wireless location based services. Meanwhile, an improved real-time calculation model for transportation network is put out, aimed to amend the limitation in the classical transportation network. Further more the data storage, algorithms and application deployment of the model is clearly described, especially in the improvement of Dijkstra algorithm and A* algorithm for the morph adjacent matrix of the model and its support for realtime network analysis. Many of the advantages of this model has incarnated in the design of navigation data format. Then the writer accomplish the special SDK(Software Development Kit) for effective data manipulation by the support of embedded Linux system and QT/Embedded technology. We have validate all ameliorate strategy above on the Car-navi Information System and we are satisfied.Recapitulatory, there are somewhat particular descriptions about data structure, service model, process logic, depolyment blue print and information exchange scheme in the GPS-Navi prototype framework, and the realization of real-time navigation information exchange system which based on GPS-Navi terminal and WLBS.At the end of this thesis,it summarizes my work and brings some suggestions for the construction of city intelligent transportation systems and CarNavi applications.
