This work mainly investigated the physical methods of titanium dioxide thin film fabrication, and the methods to evaluate the optical property and bioactivity of titanium dioxide thin film. The work contains the following aspects:1. Describe the process of the fabrication of titanium dioxide thin film using a magnetron sputtering and pulsed laser deposition. We can fabricate thin films with different crystalline structures and optical properties by control the conditions of the fabrication.2. Determinate the thickness, refractive index of titanium dioxide thin films. Evaluate the band gap of the thin films.3. Investigate the bioactivity of the titanium dioxide thin films by Simulated Body Fluid experiment. The results demonstrate that besides wet chemical method, magnetron sputtering and pulsed laser deposition are also effective to fabricate titanium dioxide bioactive thin films.
