At present in oil industry, logging data are transmitted in cable, while power supply is from alternating electricity or diesel engine power. In the impacts of system bus location and sensor distribution, the geographical situation in some wellsite especially in remote region is not suitable for wiring or has no convenient power supply condition. Traditional RS-485 or CAN bus approach can't meet all requests. Wireless communication enables easy movement and installation. Therefore, researching new system structure and building modular cable/wireless field configuration logging equipment could be of great significance.A wireless logging data acquisition and transmission system with solar power is designed and developed. The main research contents are as follows: Put forward the whole system structure; Through analysis of on-site sensors, developed low-power logging data acquisition modules with MCU as control core, completed acquisition of hook load and mud-density transducer signals in high-precision, achieved accurate measurement of pump stroke-pulse period and phase and frequency of winch signal; Through testing and calculation of system power consumption, designed structure of solar power supply system, selected right solar panel, rechargeable battery and charging controller, achieved real-time monitoring of battery voltage; Based on system data analysis, developed the communication protocol, programmed interface software and completed system test.The system has been tested in laboratory and at the logging field. Experiments show that it can overcome shortcomings of heavy loads of installation, long time project preparation and inconvenient adjustment in traditional approach. The system has a wide application future with strong points such as easy installation and expansion, simple usages, low power consumption and cost.
