Groundwater in karst area is very precious for water resources to sustain basic spring discharge and to satisfy water requirement of industry, agriculture and living. In order to insure its continuable development of economy environment and its continuable utilization of spring groundwater resources, it is necessary to carry the study on karst groundwater resources of Heilongdong spring basin,it is very important for groundwater resources management and ecological and environmental protection in this region.This article takes ground water resources of Heilongdong spring basin as the research object, the status of groundwater developing has been researched, and we pointed out the problems during exploitation and utilization; the paper have researched the karst groundwater resources quantity of discharge and recharge two ways;and in terms of its water level, precipitation and spring flow, the trend of karst groundwater has been researched.Based on the hydrological characteristics of karst groundwater flow, the groundwater numerical model was calibrated on the basis of the observation data of meteorology, groundwater level and spring discharges. The numerical model was further verified according to the actual observation data. The study results show that the model is reliable for groundwater flow simulation, and is able to predict the variations of the groundwater levels and spring discharge in this area.In foundation of the water-demand prediction,we carried on the analysis of water supply and demand, then established the optimal allocation model of Heilongdong spring basin and carried on the solution. At maintenance spring flow in different guarantee rate,and satisfied the water reqirement of living, industry, agriculture, we obtained optimized disposition water volume in different guarantee rate of groundwater resources. This has provided the scientific basis of Heilongdong spring basin's groundwater resources at reasonable development and highly effective use.
