The GIS spatial data, it is based on Geographic Information System is the indispensable part of spatial data, and the core is the quality, the quality greatly influences and restricts the geographic information system for the usability, Geographic Information System can satisfy the requirement of the user data quality is the key of construction of geographic information system is one of the tasks. Quality control is an important production of spatial data, therefore, the link of spatial data quality inspection of the study is very necessary and important.An expert system is an important branch of artificial intelligence, can be considered need knowledge and experience to solve problems of the intelligent system for solving social fields of expertise is required to solve complex problems, and has been widely used. Spatial data quality production itself exists some specific problems, not simply trend can solve the problem model, therefore, adopts expert system for quality inspection system has certain advantages.Knowledge of the rules is a way of expert system, this paper USES is generating knowledge rules, through the study of spatial relationships between elements, the spatial relations in rule library, then compare with the terrain factors, analysis and judgement, thus completing rules on the spatial relationship.Based on the spatial topology relation rules, large scale terrain factors in the space as the main research contents of topological relationships. Use knowledge rules, set topology theory in model about overlap between point, line, polygon, from the adjacency, intersection, contains, equal, in such topology relations coincides 8 categories of large scale terrain map surveying asbuilts elements: water and affiliated facilities, residents to and auxiliary facilities, transportation and affiliated facilities, pipeline and affiliated facilities, state, topography, soil, vegetation and terrain factors analysis of the spatial topology relation, and the spatial relationship between them, constitute the main contents of the rules, as the basis of spatial data quality inspection.The paper studies on the spatial relationship of terrain factors can form rule library, watch as the data quality inspection and control. Based on the rules of the topological relationship checking is a huge system, based on spatial topology relation inspection rules defined and judgment, still need in actual application of inspection and perfect.
