In urban construction, the importance role of greening is more and more. Urban landscape greening data with a great variety of types and formats is more and more. How to manage this data which is from several of departments thus increase the efficiency of these departments has become a new problem.This paper takes Wenzhou landscape greening data for example, deals with landscape greening data production and database.The first,in terms of landscape greening data production , after select the data which has variety of source,extract the valuable data and change its format, and process it further. There is an important problem comes in data processing, which is how to merge thousands of relief maps,so as to save room. This time, Programming,which is the commonly used way is not adopted, instead,using the graphical processes function of ArcGIS and the attributes of original data,transmits the attributes,and finally merge the objects which have the same attributes automately. So that to resolve the problems that waste lots of time and low accuracy rate by handwork.The second,in terms of attributes input,the number of landscape greening data records is very large. Spatial selection and attributes transmitting is also used. Select the objects which have the same attribute or in the same district by the area of district, and input the same attribute, so as to save time.The third, in terms of data quality control, the defect criteria of area green spatial data was classified. Based on stratified sampling method, the weighted points for the spatial data quality was evaluated and analyzed.The forth, in terms of the design of database and the selection of data base management system,the design of database is very important,it has affection for the speed,cost,use,preserve and the update of data,so Spatial Database and attribute database must be design by necessary and select the data base management system which is suitable and for convenience of select and analyses. PostgreSQL is the most characteristic open-source Object-Relational DBMS, supports almost all SQL constructs, and has Spatial Data Analysis function, so it is the best choice for building the database.The data process method and basic materiel to establish a landscape greening database was summarized by preceding the spatial landscape greening data and loading. At the meantime, the database applicable to spatial Landscape Greening data was selected based on comparisons of several kinds of databases, which plays an important role in using the information of landscape greening fully.
