Designing And Researching Police-Used GIS Based On The Technology Of Supermap IS.NET

With the development of urbanization, it takes higher requirement for public security work, especially for management of visualization, since traditional model and idea can't meet the need of new situation. GIS (geography information system), which bring traditional database into visual spatial and display the result as a map, can help us analyze and query huge data information. Thus we can compensate the limitations when we analyze data in traditional application system of information at present. With GIS, governor will have a more visual and comprehensive understanding to make an over-all arrangement, in order to improve the management of modernization and the level of aid decision making. General police-used GIS can help bureau of public security not only make a full use of police force, information and resources, but also advanced its management of visualize and digitalize in the area of command and control, traffic management, fire control, crime analyses, social disorder protection, control of domicile, integrated decision and analysis. In a word, public security system can provide in-time, speed, accurate ability when solving incident by constructing high-speed, high-quality integrated police-used GIS which have the foundation of spatial geographical information.Based on the IS.NET component technologies, we design a united application platform which can satisfy the needs of different types of police from different areas. This paper particularly introduces the idea of designing this system, core techniques in the exploration, including:1) it designs a universal architecture for each police-used software platform based on every county integrated with different police type,in order to make that information can be shared and comprehensive used;2) This system was designed with SuperMap IS.NET component technology to ensure the security, scalability, simplicity of transplant procedure and easy maintenance in development, this design has demonstrated a strong advantage in everyday's use; In subsystem design, we constructed police distribution and scheduling model which provide a scientific basis for the Public Security Department and achieve the best effect with limited resources; 3) PGIS organize different cities, different police types of data and information through the spatial data engine of SuperMap SDX+for a access with spatial database, facilitate the updating and changing of spatial data and has a strong reliability;...
