GIS Design And Development In Wireless Network Planning Software

Wireless network planning will be more and more important in the construction of wireless network with the gradual development of 3G network in China. Wireless network planning is related to the structure and the performance of the future network. Wireless network planning will also be in the face of new challenges. As a complex process in a long term, wireless network planning engineers can use planning software to make a better planning.Geography Information System is a basic and important module in wireless network planning software. GIS provide Geography Information Data for algorithm realized in the software and the Graphical User Interface. So the GIS have an influence on the performance of running software and the user experience. So the analysis, research, design and development of the GIS has been an important part of the wireless network planning software development.Firstly, this paper introduces basic conception and basic project procedure in wireless network planning. Based on the knowledge, this paper introduces, analyze and research the Geography Information System. On the wireless network planning background, GIS has special properties. This paper integrates the GIS and the wireless network planning software to make a detailed analysis on GIS. In the end this paper designs and develops GIS with a good performance, scalability, stability and easy use to meet the demand of performance and function in wireless net work planning software.
