Reservoir sedimentology of oil and gas has developed rapidly in recent years and has been general concerned highlight.In summary,its developing actuality and developing tendency mainly focus on:macrovisual study scale is larger and microscope study is deeper and finer; the study aspect is transferred from quality to quantity and forecast; the study way is transferred from single subject to multi-subject cooperation.The PI 1-4 layer in the 2th district of east of SaNan developing area is large compound channel sand body, the oil layer is thick and geologic reserve is huge,It's the main oil layer in SaNan developing area and has been playing important role in the progress of oilfield development. Although the containing substance in the layer is absolute high ratio of water through nearly 50 years,the inside of thick oil layer still has potential remaining oil because of the aeolotropy of the inside of reservoir,which is the main target of tertiary recovery at the moment and in the days to come.In order to guide the oilfield fine tapping after polymer driving,we need to further study the aeolotropy of PI1-4 layer,make the building structure of channel sand body and remaining oil distribution clearly,which has important sense in raising level of reservoir description and in maintaining stable yields in oilfields.Channel sand body fine dissection is finished on the basis of of sedimentary environment and sedimentary feature new recognition,which is obtained by the study of the bone section in NO.2 district of SaNan developing area. The correct layer unification and fine microfacies recognition is the important foundation arid key technologies of channel sand body fine dissection. Due to the serious vertical and plane cutting and stacking of large compound channel sand body,the division of thick sedimentary unit boundaries has multiple solutions.To solve this problem, according to single sand body style and feature,the thick oil layer unification technological way and log microfacies model are formed in full awareness of the layer depositon character in the study area, using river sedimentology and high resolution sequence stratigraphy.And then with the thick oil layer unification technological way and log microfacies model, vertical unit division, especial fine contrast of PI1-4 layer in study area, identification and differentiation of thick layer composite sand body, establishment of high resolution sequence layer shelf are finished,plane deposition micro-facies of single sand body short period sequence is fine studied according to river fine sedimentology model and logging feature,and thus single channel is identified for plane composite sand body.According to the meandering river feature of concave bank erosion and convex bank aggradation,abandoned channel is identified and associated on plane in single channel,then spot dam is identified and the single spot dam internal building structure is studied with A.D.Miall river building structure theory,at last oil remaining distribution is studied with explanation data of newly drilled well,which provide important theoretical evidence for tertiary oil recovery.
