The Digital Weaving Method Of Expressing Color Gradient Drawing On Silk Jacquard Fabric Woven By Warps And Wefts With Same Color

For the purpose of getting hand-drawn gradual change effect on silk jacquard fabric woven by warps and wefts with same color as well as increasing fabric's the added art value ; technology content and security level , this thesis presents a method that expresses color gradient drawing on silk jacquard fabric by using digital weaving principle. The method includes: Construct weave model→weave specific fabric→image acquisition and processing→establish weave link-database→jacquard graph processing→weave fabric. The main studies include the following aspects:1,based on satin; twill; plain weave , in view of the limit of floating length and fabric's characteristics, take 16-end weft sateen; 1/15↖till; 1/1 plain weave as basis weaves respectively, and then construct three different types of weave model by varing basis weaves .2,Using digital weaving techniques and taking warps and wefts with same color as material, weave specific fabric in terms of the weave model , then obtain different types of fabric with different surface effects .3,Shoot pictures by controlling the experimental conditions and obtain the fabric's digital images. Then, acquire the information about gray level from the digital images throughing programming; sort fabric's digital images in their own weave categories based on the average standard deviation of gray level.4,According to the sort results, choose and re-sort the weaves with high degree distinction of lightness and reasonable distribution of weave point, then establish the useful weave link-database .5,Select patterns with gradient effect such as wash drawing and landscape painting ; flowers. Then based on the weave link-database, silk jacquard is woven by warps and wefts with same color by means of electronic jacquard machine. Finally, silk jacquard fabric with unique visual effect is obtained, which make it possible that transforms color gradients into gradations of shades based on weave construction. The above studies have shown that it is feasible to obtain silk jacquard fabric with gradient effect which is woven by warps and wefts with same color and using digital weaving technique. This kind of silk jacquard fabric presents unique visual effect and its added art value ; technology content ; security level are increased, which shows clearly the way to widely use digital weaving technique and develop advance textile products .
