As one kind of textile technologies, color jacquard weave involves chromatology, vision theories and computer image processing. With this technology, both pattern and color effects of color images can be expressed in jacquard fabrics by arranging and matching limited color resources (generally 6 to 10 kinds of colors). Color scheme is deemed to be the core technology in color jacquard weave, and research on this field is still at the primary stage in China.In order to promote the application of computer aided technology in textile craft, this thesis does researches on color schemes, image denoising and fabric simulation in color digital jacquard CAD. The researches in this thesis can be summed up as follows:. A new method for designing and generating color schemes is proposed, which is suitable for color digital jacquard weave. Through this method, the jacquard scheme for each color in standard 256 color table can be designed with 6 different color yarns. The color schemes designed in this thesis have such features as: (?) Manual operations are avoided in the process of yarn color selection; (??) Engineering difficulties are reduced through lessening the number of the yarns used for the weft; (???) The back side of the jacquard fabric is no longer in a mess; (?v) With only a few changes, the new color schemes can be comfortably applied to the present jacquard machines. In this way, not only the production efficiency can be improved, but also the application market of color digital jacquard technology can be broadened.II. In the light of the characteristics of color digital jacquard technology, a statistics-based denoising algorithm for color digital images is put forward, which is capable of preserving the edges. The algorithm divides the noises into isolate noises and edge noises. And different methods are adopted to process different kinds of noises, instead of treating the whole image with one method in traditional algorithms. Experimental results show that: the new algorithm not only have strong ability to eliminate noises, but also can preserve the edges well. Besides, after denoising, the quality of the image is obviously improved comparatively.III. Put the core technologies of this thesis into comprehensive application. Centering on the researches in this thesis, a color digital jacquard CAD framework is set up by adding some auxiliary functions, such as graph design, jacquard simulation and data transmission.
