Iron and steel smelting technology is moving in high efficiency, high-quality, low consumption with current development of steel production. This requires complex,rapid process analysis during the entire process of steel-making, get the analysis results within a few minutes. The traditional analysis of test methods have been unable to adapt to fast-paced production, the automation of analysis and testing for steel production has become an indispensable means of Iron and steel production enterprises. Therefore, a high degree of automation of sample handling analysis system is urgent need in steel industry.Fully automation sample handling analysis system was chose for the object of study in this dissertation. Sample handling process control system was developed based on industry robot, PLC, configuration software, other industrial hardware and software platform after analyzed the production process and control requirements. For achieved information's integration and ensuring the system reliable running, the control product of Siemens's communication technology, Host Computer monitoring and control of the overall process, Industrial robot control of key technologies were put emphasis on research. The monitoring procedures for the PC and HMI were developed based on the completion of the WINCC, RAPID development tool, which realized process control, information integration, process parameters setting, historical data management and intelligent fault alarm, and other functions.Debugging at the scene indicated that the design of the fully automation sample handling analysis system achieved the expected functional requirements, has good reliability and availability to meet the requirements of the production at the scene.
