| Rare earth luminous fibers are a kind of new material, provided with special function and technology. If this fiber absorbed any visible light only 10 minutes, it could store up light energy in fiber, and can keep shining for more than 10 hours in the dark. Moreover, the luminous fibers have kinds of colors, such as yellow, blue,green, and red. The high-brightness light is innocuous and of no radioactivity. It is safe for the environment and people's health. Because luminous fibers are modified nylon, polyester,or polypropylene filament, and its evenness and softness are in line with into the circle requirements of knitted fabric.In recent years,with the advancement of science and technology, the development of fabric is endless. Luminous fiber research and development have elapsed for six years, but its promotion and applications in the market is still in the initial stage. The production and application is not yet mature. How to utilize luminous fibers reasonably and effectively in fabric's research and development is an issue with great significance and broad prospects.This issue mainly studies luminous fibers'application in exploitation of velvet fabric. By means of studying luminous fibers'physical and mechanical properties, adjusts mechanical parts and improved the production processes in the base of knitting machine. Considering economic costs, luminescence properties and fabric softness, etc, luminous plush is knitted by triangular shaped polyester filament yarn, superfine fiber and luminous fibers.Finally, analyze and comprehensively compare several luminous plush's comfortable performance. Apply PR-305 Afterglow Brightness Tester to test their luminescence properties. Through repeated experiments, if other conditions are equal, luminous plush knitted by triangular shaped fibers and luminous fibers has the highest brightness. At the same time, luminous plush's handle and softness has been significantly increased.
