Trollius chinensis Bunge grows widely in our country and has a broad resource. It has been a favored treatment for upper respiratory infections, pharyngitis, tonsillitis etc. by the folk. Modern research on pharmacology has indicated that there are evident antibacterial actions in its aqueous extract, as well as certain antiviral activities. Now all the medicines about 7? chinensis Bge. in the market belong to the third or fourth-class medicine with lower technological level. Thus, the research and development of T chinensis Bge. have a good prospect. Using modern isolation means and analytical methods, we probed into the anti-bacteria effective positions (or compositions) and pharmacological action of 7? chinensis Bge. For exploring its efficacy material basis. Meanwhile, we studied preliminarily the antiviral activities of 7? chinensis Bge.. On the above basis, we studied the extraction technology and content analytical methods of 7? chinensis Bge. 憇 flavones, and thus laid the foundations for the development of the second-class medicine of 7? chinensis Bge.. To explore the antibacterial effective positions of 7? chinensis Bge., we firstly improved the ultraviolet and visible spectrometer used in flavones content抯 measure, whose key was the sample抯 pre-treatment. The colorful impurities must have been removed from the sample through the polyamide column before it was measured. As a result, 7? chinensis Bge. 憇 flavones content was 4.223%, which is more precise and reliable than the one (14.004%) in the literature. Orthogonal design was used on the study of 7? chinensis Bge. 憇 flavones extraction technology in order to make it more systematized and standard. We chose orthogonal design table Lg(34), and examined the influences of the flavones content which were resulted by different dissolvent, extracting times, extracting time and dissolvent volume. According to the variance analysis, the optimal extraction technology of flavones was extracting (three times, 1.5 hours per time) 7? chinensis Bge. with 12 times of 60% ethanol at 80扖. The exploration of 7? chinensis Bge. antibacterial effective positions (or compositions) are followed with antibacterial activities in vitro. Micro-dilution method ABSTRACT was used in the antibacterial experiment. The result didn抰 show the coherence between flavones content and antibacterial effect. The crude extract of highest flavones content was 60% ethanol solution substances,, while the crude extract of best antibacterial effect was water solution substances. Further isolation results showed that flavones were the antibacterial effective position in the T chinensis Bge., which was consistent with the literature. In addition, the results showed that there were other antibacterial effective positions in the aqueous portion which was extracted by n-butanol except flavones. The aqueous portion was isolated by macroporous adsorption resin and then pre-tested initialively. The result indicated that the new antibacterial effective positions were strong polar compositions and they were identificated to be probably tannin, amino acid etc.. Antibacterial activities and antiviral activities of T chinensis Bge. were studied in the experiment, by comparing respectively the inhibition action of crude extract, flavones, more pure flavones mixture, vitexin and proglobeflowery acid against epidermidis Stcq~hylococcus, Staphylococcus aure us, Micrococcus luleus, respiratory...
