AbstractIn 1951, ferrocene was synthesized by Kealy and Pauson[1], and the next year Wilkinson and Woodward[2] conformed that it was a Sandwich structure. From then the researches for ferrocene and its derivatives have been rich for several decades, especially in the last ten years, the researches were more active. Because of their unique structures, the ferrocene and its derivatives behaved many special properties, and they have been used in many areas, such as catalyst, helping combustion reagent, non-linear optics, modification of electrode, aiti-ageing reagent, medicine, et al. We synthesized seven novel ferrocene derivatives in room temperature, Their chemical formulates are listed as below:(â… )Cu2(dmaf)2(CH3COO)4(â…¡)Cu2(dmaf)2(C6H5COO)4(â…¢)Fc(C(CH3)NHNH2)2(â…£)Pd[Fc(C(CH3)NHNH2)2]C!2(â…¤)Ni[Fc(C(CH3)NHNH2)2]Cl2(â…¥)Cd(dppf)I2(â…¦)Cd(dppf)Br2In which we cultivated four single crystals: (â… ), (â…¢),(â…¥) and (â…¦).We conformed the crystal structures of the four crystals by X-ray diffraction. The results showed that ( I) is a binuclear copper( II) complex with acetates bridging, (HI) is a supermolecular compound with intermolecular H bonds, (VI) and (W) are tetrahedron structure with Cd( II) being coordination center. We characterized the compounds by IR, UV-VIS solid diffusion electronic spectrum, fluorescent spectrum, CV, TG, DTA and X-ray powder diffraction. Exceptionally, we discussed the electronic structure and bonding properties by quantum chemistry calculation.
