The paper study the slope of the Jianshan NO.6 tailing-dam in Panzhihua, discussing the mechanism of deformation failure and the stability at the Jianshan NO.6tailing-dam in Panzhihua. On the basis of above results, Designing reducing-slope make the slope more stability, This will be used to recovery vegetation. After assuring the slope stability, we study the vegetation choice and the recovery vegetation, derive the project procedure and the technical key of recovery vegetation in the tailing-dam.From the evaluation of stability to the NO.6 tailing-dam in Panzhihua,we can conclude that the slope-high-, slope-angle and the claystone of Xigeda group are the key of stability. The conclusion of the three-dimensional simulation in which groundwater is considerated shows that groundwater reduce the slope stability. So designing drain ditch is very important. That will be used to drain from the tailing-dam in time, reduce the effect of groundwater and improve the stability of slope. While designing the reducing-slope, I design pedestal sit on the slope surface for the following recovery vegetation. After reducing-slope,! use the limiting-equilibrium analysis analyses the stability of the slope. The conclusion indicates that the slope is very stable and no reinforcement are used if the angle of slope is about 30?During the study of recovery vegetation and vegetation choice, I study the project procedure and the technical point in the tailing-dam field. Amang them, the vegetation choice must be done according the practical situation, so the study of the fill material chemical constitution and its construction must be done and the pollution level of heavy metal of the tailing-dam must be analysed to deal with them.From all of above, the paper study the project recovery and the biologic recovery, use some new technology (e. the three-dimensional simulation and the method of geochemical analysis ), conclude a recovery vegetation programme which fit the tailing-dam in Panzhihua field and induce the technology point during the recovery vegetation. All of this have some theoretical and project significance.
