In this paper, effecting factors of low temperature clarification result were studied, and some conclusions were gained:1.The analytical method of starch and soluble silica in cane juice was determined-UV spectrophotography. According to absorption spectrum, the optimum determination wavelength was selected as 580nm and 690nm.2.After low temperature-phosphoric acid-floatation process, the nitrides x lipids > starch >. phenols and soluble silica were separatively eliminated by an average of 1 8.66%N 87.13%> 64.82%x 26.43% and 35.75%. That is, most of the lipids and starch were got rid of.3.Low temperature combined with sulfitation process was studied. From the results of orthogonal test, we knowed that the composition of mixture (ZnO and H3PO4) and the intensity of sulfitation were the key factors. By analyzed the experiments results, we found the optimum technology condition to increase elimination rate of nitrides > starch> phenols and soluble silica, to raise apparent purity(A.P), and to decrease color value. From the contrast experiments, the sequences indicated that nitrides> starch> phenols and soluble silica were eliminated by an average of 32.09%^ 82.35%> 23.27% and 33.53%, versus to sulphitation process , those values were separatively high 6.83%x 9.53%^ 8.38% and 5.83%, the color value was low by 37 IU units, apparent purity(A.P) was above 0.1 8 percent.4.The changes of absorption spectra and absorbance were also presented by using UV spectrophotometer. Some matters with chromophore and auxochrome decreased or even vanished.
