The Optimized Design And Reshaping Of Profile Of Skiving Cutter With Plane Flank For Gleason Gear

Because the profile of skiving cutter with plane flank for Gleason gear is a straight line with an angle ^ ,the tolerance of the designed profile and the tolerance of the reshaped profile are great. I n this study, a method of optimizing the profile has been put forwarded, with which the parameters that have effect on the above two tolerance have been analyzed. As a result, a basic rule on the parameters of the profile design has been obtained. Meanwhile, a program which facilitates and simplifies the parameters of the profile design and the parameter of profile reshaping has been designed.
