Mineral processing workshop slope slide group of Chenchao Iron Mine is composed of east slopeslide and west slopeslide. Since 1997, after the excavation at the foot of slope in constructing the mineral processing workshop road and in repairing the buildings of Chenchaodawan, slow movement of slopeslide is detected, and deformative damages are found in the buildings on the slope.The assessment on stability of Mineral Processing Workshop Slope in Chenchao Iron Mine is the key to selecting the project to ensure the safety of mineral processing factories. There are many methods in stability assessing. Integrating engineering geological Analyzing method, engineering geological assimilating method and numerical simulating method are applied in this thesis to analyze and assess the Mineral Processing Workshop slopeslide in Chenchao Iron Mine.Based on the analysis on the structure and mechanical properties of rock and soil, on the deformation characteristics of slope and on the forming mechanism of slope slide, engineering geological integrated analyzing method is applied when analyzing the stability of the slope. The results imply that the Mineral Processing Workshop Slopeslide is at the stage of limited equilibrium at present, the reason of slope deformation is the present of structural weak plane, which is controlled by Chenchao Fractures, and the inducing factors are the excavation at thefoot of slope, the loading at the top of slope and the seepage of underground water. And -it implied that the deformation mechanism is of creep sliding-tension cracking.Integrated with the study on deformation mechanism, deformation stage and the experiences of similar slope deformation, engineering geological assimilating method is applied to assess the stability of mineral processing factories in Chenchao Iron Mine.With the help of mechanical parameters of rock and soil obtained by back analysis, numerical analysis is applied to analyze the stress distributed in the slope, the magnitude of displacement and the distribution of damaged zones. These can be applied to verify the inducing reasons of slopeslide.
