| The thesis expounds the development of a CAD system aimed to designing axisymmetric hot steel forging. The system is developed by computer language C++ and tools of ObjectARX2000 SDK provided by Autodesk, Inc., so the system cannot be run without the support of AutoCAD2000.This system can be divided into 6 modules: the module used for getting the property of material, the module used for getting the outline of the part, the module used for designing the hot-forging, the module used for designing the technics parameter, the module used for designing the mould and the module used for checking the designing process.In this CAD system, the database support is based on the using of the ODBC and Access provided by the Microsoft Corp. In this method, on the one hand, author develops a new data structure to describe the 2-Dimenssion-geometry information of outline of forging. On the other hand the system can query the database conveniently.Some research about parameterization, visualization and intelligence has been applied in the system. |
