The thirty-six popular rice varieties and rice germplasm with typical and various color of seed skin, which were planted at various environmental circumstance (i.e. season and place), were employed to study the content of Se, Cu, Fe, Zn, Ca and Mn mineral element in their polished rice and rice bran, and the trend of variation and the correlation. The results of the research were as follows: (1)Mean content of all six elements in rice bran was significantly higher than that in polished rice. The content of Mn in rice bran was 13.07 times as much as that in polished rice, and the content of Fe. Cu, Ca, Zn and Se in rice bran was respectively 12.76 times, 7.48 times, 5.07 times, 3.56 times and 2.71 times as much as those in polished rice. (2)Several varieties with both higher and steadier content of multi-mineral elements in polished rice under three different surroundings were picked out. Such varieties as "Fare Bardhi", which contained higher and steadier content of Se, Cu, Fe and Zn, "chong yang nuo", which with higher and steadier content of Cu, Fe, Zn and Mn, " pei liang you 288",which had higher and steadier content of Se, Cu, Mn .Likewise, several varieties with both higher and steadier content of multi-mineral elements in rice bran were identified. Such varieties as fu liang you 63 ( Se Fe Mn ),pei liang you 288( Cu Fe Mn ),te you 77 and long hua da hong yu ( Cu Fe Zn ) and so on.(3)The content of Ca (75.832ug.g-l) in the black polished rice was significantly higher than that (63.876ug.g-l) in the white polished rice and that (59.224ug.g-l) in the red polished rice. The content of Mn (137.779ug.g-l) in the white rice bran was significantly higher than that (119.739ug.g-l) in the black rice bran and that (113.967ug.g-l) in the red rice bran. The other elements' content was not significantly different in the various color kind of rice. (4)There were correlativities between the content of elements in polished rice and in rice bran. Under three various environments, it was significantly positive correlation that between Se in polished rice and Se in rice bran, between Mn in polished rice and Mn in rice bran, between Zn in polished rice and Mn in polished rice, between Fe in rice bran and Zn in rice bran. But it was significantly negative correlation that between Fe in rice bran and Ca in rice bran.
