For isomerization of n-hexane over mordenite, Pt/ZrO2-HM catalysts have been prepared with Platinum as active component and ZrO2 as co-catalyst. Effects of ion exchange, content of metals, reduction condition, co-catalyst and reaction conditions on catalysts performance was studied respectively. A mathematical orthogonal method was used to obtain an optimum reaction condition ofr=280C,P =2.0MPa,WHSV=l.5h-1,H2/n-C5 =3.0 . At these conditions, n-pentane conversion is66.31197%, i-pentane yield is 63.924 %, i-pentane selectivity is 96.4000% and liquid product yield is 97.6441%. It approached the level of isomerization catalysts which have been published in articles and patents.Kinetic experiment was carried out on high-pressure-micro-reactor that uses continuous flow fixed-bed and chromatography unit. Effects of temperature, pressure, WHSV and H2/n-C6 on n-hexane isomeration reaction was studied. One-progression-and-reversible dynamic mold of n-hexane isomeration was set up. Kinetic parameters have been calculated. After comparing, it was shown that these parameters meet with those calculated by other researchers.
