| The liquid lift-up and flow status of Combined Trapezoid Spray Tray (CTST) were measured and studied theoretically in the experiment column with diameter of 600mm.The pressure distribution of dry plate and wet plate was measured and it was shown that the pressure distribution in the cover of CTST is of benefit to lifting liquid.The height of annular flow in the cover was measured and the correlative model of annular flow height was obtained, the flow model of the annular flow was established.The results of liquid lift-up show: liquid lift-up increase with the clear liquid height on the plate, while the width of tray hole is different, the increasing speed of liquid lift-up with the clear liquid height is different too. The narrower the tray hole is, the higher the increasing speed of liquid lift-up is. Liquid lift-up decreases with the increasing of gas velocity of tray hole, while the width of tray hole is of different, the decreasing speed of liquid lift-up with the increasing of gas velocity of tray hole is different too. While the length vs. width is 8, the decreasing speed is the least. The effect of tray hole form on liquid lift-up is measured under the two different conditions. While the length of tray hole is changeless, under the condition of the same gas velocity, with the increase of tray hole's width, the liquid lift-up decreases. While the width of tray hole is changeless, with the increase of tray hole's length, liquid lift-up keep stead. The effect of cover bottom on liquid lift-up is similar under the condition of different tray hole's width, with the increase of cover bottom, the liquid lift-up first increase then decrease, and while the height of cover bottom is between 12-15mm, the liquid lift-up is most.On the basis of conversation of energy the mathematic model of liquid lift-up was established which can describe the experimental data. |
