Research On The Open-loop Autoleveller In The Rear Of Carding Machine

Autoleveller is an important device to solve card sliver weight unevenness and difference on blowing-carding-drawing unit. In 1959, the first autoleveller on carding machine was shown in Milan international textile machinery exhibition. From then on, autoleveller has developed rapidly. In recent years, with the high-speed development of integrate circuit and sensor technology, a lot of sensors and processing and control modules, which are low price, high precision and stable performance, are turned out. These modern modules offer a fundamental condition to design and produce new type autoleveller.Using modern sensor technology in the world, a new type of autoleveller is designed in the text. The design theory and constitution of cotton layer testing sensor are discussed. Both static and dynamic characters are tested and discussed by methods of mathematical analysis and experiments. The in-out function of sensor system is also determined in the process. The device consists of cotton layer testing sensor, magnification and filter circuit, single chip processing system and performing unit.By plenty of experiments on card sliver weight unevenness and Saco-Lowell graphic, the open-loop autoleveller is tested synthetically, and the adjusting effect is analyzed and summarized.
