All kinds of measures for gas harnessing of top even angle are analyzed and these measures' advantages and disadvantages are discussed. There exist some difficult technical problems about the treatment for gas accumulation at the top even angle in coal mining of our country's collieries. Though some technical problems about prevention from gas accumulation of top even angle are settled and applied successfully in some mines at home and abroad, they are applicable for very few mines due to the complexity of coal geological conditions. The measure of utilizing air screen to treat the gas of top even angle is put forward by combining the advantages of many harnessing measures. Also the mechanism about the top even angle gas' effusing is analyzed. The 3-D seepage equation of the wind flow in gob area is put forward on the basis of analyzing the mine's wind flowing rule and the gob area's collapse mode. By FLUENT hydro-simulation soft, the wind flowing in the gob area is simulated and further analysis and validation is made about the mechanism of gas effusing and its prevention by air screen . Then through the test and analysis of the jet blower, the relationship between jet blower parameters and its performance is demonstrated. The optimum parameter is obtained, which provides a theoretical foundation for the jet blower actual manufacture. According to the actual parameters of coal mining face, the models of jet blower and air compressor are made out. Then locate the jet blower on mining face and air screen is produced by the jet blower to prevent the gob area's gas effusing to the top even angle. Finally the conclusion is reached that it is feasible to treat gas at top even angle through the air screen produced by the jet blower.
