Study On Mechanism For Coal Log Pipeline Transportation

The technique of Coal Log Pipeline Transportation is a new industry technique, which is being researched recently. The research of its mechanism is based on the theory of Two Phase Cross Flow to study the variety of parameters in the process of coal log transportation. According to the analysis to theories of others, we realize the coal log pipeline hydraulic transportation system, and apply the theories to the practice successfully. The main contents and conclusions of this paper is given:1 , At first, we introduce the basic concept of Two Phase Cross Flow briefly, then combine the actual instance of coal log pipeline transportation, and analyze the mechanism for movement of coal log in pipeline in detail.2, In the experiment, we measured the resistance of pipeline transportation, and find the relative speed between coal log and water in different flux by test. Further more we completed to test the velocity field in the front and the back of fixed coal log. we can draw a conclude: The technique of Coal Log Pipeline Transportation can be successfully used to the practice.
