At present, the atmosphere environment quality in our country is still not satisfactory. As the main air pollutant, 862 does harm to air environment greatly.Therefore, strict and scientific controlling proceeding and treatment on SO2 is necessary, and the absorption method to eliminate SO2 is an efficient way.This paper firstly experiments the limenstone's absoqMion result when it used as SO2 sorbent under different conditions, and systematically studies several factors' influence on absoption proceeding, including spray way, filler shap, SO2 concentration, sorbent's pH, temperature and liquid-gas ratio(L/G). Based on above, we put forward an suggestion that using industrial waste liquid as sorbent to remove SO2 by wet method. In the experiment, using ash-washing water of boiler, waste water of hot rolling and waste ammonia water of coking as sorbent, regarding sintering smoke (imitative) as treated object, through a series of experiment on absorption efficiency, we get related data in large quantity. At the same time, this paper also analyses and studies the chemical reaction mechanism and absorption dynamics when SO2 is absorbed.Through experiment, the results indicates that several factors, including SO2 concentration, sorbent's pH and L/G, are in positive relation to desulfurization efficiency whereas the sorbent's temperature is negative. Especially, there exsits an efficiency decreasing effect between sorbent's pH and L/G and desulfurization efficiency. Comparing to before, the efficiency increases 20% when using nozzle to spray. After installed self-made filler, the desulfurization effect is remarkable, proved by experiment.Moreover, we found that, after experimenting on the three waste liquid, the efficiency with waste ammonia water is highest, and it always has significant desulfurization efficiency(η>95%) to flue gas in every kind of concentration and can be circulated to use many times. It is suitable for ash-washing water of boiler to treat the flue gas in middle or low concentration (less than 2000 ppm) but then the desulfuri-zation effect to high concentration is not very ideal. If choose waste water in hot rolling to eliminate SO2, it should increase the pH value to make the effect better.In additon, by the technical-economic analysis of ammonia- sulphur method, if we choose suitable industrial waste liquid for flue gas desulfurization,we can say that not only the better desulfurization effect is sure to be taken but also the certain economic performance is available.
