Study On The Design And Usage Of Woman's Knitted Apparel Prototype

It becomes a current trend to developing knitted apparel hi the apparel field all over the world. The development of knitted apparel has wide prospect, but the modern knitted apparel industry of our country is still in preliminary stage, especially the structure design theory of the knitted apparel is still very laggard. Most of the manufacturers still use the traditional specification algorithms to make pattern. This method is short of adaptability, has no theoretical foundation, according to this method, the apparel has some shortages on body fitting. The structure of the knitted apparel not merely needs to meet the function request, but also should guarantee the rationality of the structure and aesthetic quality of the style. Therefore it is necessary to set up the structure design theoretical system which is accommodated to the development of knitted apparel. This thesis is based on this thought.This research is a new exploration, adopting the approach of integrating theory with practice. It can be divided into five major parts:1. after doing the experiments of draping cutting, the close-fitting patterns of top half body made of different characteristic knitted fabrics were obtained, and then compared them with the similar patterns of woven fabric, we did the analysis: analyzing the detail structure differences between the pattern made of knitted fabric and the pattern made of woven fabric; analyzing the detail structure differences in the different characteristic knitted fabrics; finding the rules of the variation.2. Through the approach of integrating theory with practice, one of the key elements of the prototype was get-The relationship between the fabric character and the surplus which is between the apparel and the body : If the other conditions are same, the surplus between the different kinds knitted fabrics and the body is same; When the fabric elasticity is not used, the surplus between the knitted fabric and the body is less than that of the woven fabric; When the knitted fabric elasticity increased by 3cm, the surplus decreased by 0.4 cm.3. According to the kinesics, we sampled from a large amount of the human body, adopting the advanced statistics software to analyze the data. Regarding bust and height as the control positions, we calculated the regressive equation of the other specification to the bust and height, the other one of the key elements of the prototype -The theory basis of the prototype plane cartography sizes was solved.4. Basing on the above-mentioned, we designed the prototype of women's knitted apparel with the method of combining the 2D and 3D technology. The plane cartography formula of the prototype adopts the simplified regressive equation get from the third part, the box type prototype is formed by draping cutting, adopting the suitable surplus for the knitted apparel.5. According to the design of different loosen amounts of the bust applied to the prototype pattern of women's knitted apparel, the knitted apparel pattern of the loose type, body-fitting type, and close-fitting type were obtained. By the above item, we can explain how to concretely use the women's knitted apparel prototype to the knitted apparel structure design, and analyze the technical feasibility of the women's knitted apparel prototype applied to the knitted apparel structure design by the theory of apparel structure balance fitting the body. Thus the rationality and effectiveness of woman's knitted prototype was verified.In sum, the women's knitted apparel prototype pattern is formed by the method of combining the 2D and 3D technology in this thesis, with the measuring data and experimental result as the basis, with the applicability to the knitted apparel designing as the purpose. And the concrete method is discussed to use this prototype on the women's knitted apparel structure design. So this thesis has certain practical value and innovation.
