In this thesis, the development of antibacterial emamel and inorganic antimicrobial have been comprehensively introduced. According to present status, it is a promising way to produce antibacterial functional enamel. But the research on antibacterial enamel is still a lower level, it is a useful work to prepare inorganic antimicrobial and finally produce antibacterial enamel.Si-B-Zn-Ca-P-Ag-O system and the relationship of elements were studied. The antibacterial agent could be prepared with being sintered at about 1100℃ and balling-grinded for 4 h.The results showed that in Si-B-Zn-Ca-P-Ag-O antibacterial system, when Si/Ag Si/Zn Si /B (molar ratio) was 3.85 3 and 3, the agent showed a very excellent antibacterial, the MIC is 50mg/L.Antibacterial porcelain enamel and antimicrobial were studied with XRD, PL, SEM, EPMA, BET; the particle size analysis, antimicrobial property test and toxicity test were investigated; and the influential factors of the properties of antibacterial porcelain enamel and their relations were analyzed.The result of antimicrobial glaze showed that the incorporation of antimicrobial agent had a little effects. With incorporating 4% amount of agent, the matrix and glazing are well-knit. But adding more antibacterial agent the glaze glaze tended to agglomerate .The antibacterial test showed that with adding 3% agent, the enamel showed antibacterial effect. With the increase of more agents, the antibacterial enamel's antimicrobial effect can reach 99%. In addition, the enemal' polish was improved.Meanwhile the enamel had strong antibacterial effect after dipping in acid and alkali.Temperature had little influence on enamel's antibacterial effect in technical extent. But temperature strongly affects the enamel's surface, the temperature 820-840℃ was appropriate..The enamel had strong resistance to citric acid, according to the standard ofdomestic enamel ware of China, the enamel level belongs to A or AA. Dipping into alkali, the enamel did not lose its polish and thermal shock resistance was satisfactory.
