| This paper design a intelligence core system of ZN double stream horizontal continuous caster of cast iron based on ZSL-02, include mold, holding furnace and drawing control. The continuous caster has successlly and stably produced cast iron bar which is less than 30mm diameter as well as custom ordered shape, such as square and hexagon and so on. The article main contents are as follows:According to character of the water-cooled graphite die quickly cooling, the paper optimize structure of mold and control the height of iron fluid in the holding furnace, so as to gain the best iron fluid solidification characteristic. Application technology of quadric spray cooling on mold exit can improve producing rate, decrease segregation, and increase uniformity of hardness.PLC is introducing drawing control system that can realize man-machine conversation through touchable screen. The design application a reversible adjust speed system which have rotational speed and electric current feedback double closed loop direct current motor to control drawing. The system possess capacity of controlling drag-stop ratio, velocity and periods. At the same time, through the PJD reversible adjusting, many new continuous castingtechnology what include self-motion backward boost , reversal connections braking and constant accelerating and so on become realization.Lots of experiments about small diameter iron bar by ZN continuous casting producing were carrying out which include appearance and microstructure and performance. The analysis results indicate that all kinds of iron bar are excellent that not only its inner quality but also appearance quanlity. The technology has filled up domestic vacancy and realize industrialization production. The large numbers of small diameter iron bars have been already exported.
