Design And Research Of Automatic Control On Synchronization Cutting Mechanism Of Cast Iron Horizontal Continuous Caster

Cast Iron Horizontal Continuous Caster is a advanced rough cast production technology. The products produced by Cast Iron Horizontal Continuous Caster has the feature of compact structure , fine graphite .So it has a good performance of machining property ,and it has been used widely in developed country .This paper mainly designs and deals with the automatic control over the Cutting Mechanism of the Cast Iron Horizontal Continuous Caster of ZSL-02 . Firstly, the main operation consequence of the Cutting Mechanism is analysed , the project of controlling system which is PLC, can be determined based on the actual requirement. Secondly, the parts and their action sequences can be given , and the input point and output point could be determined ,so the type of PLC can be selected. Thirdly, the composition of controlling system are designed , the hardware and software then can be developed .Finally the working ways and the controlling program can be implemented based on the flow chart.Touch panel is a latest interface equipment and a minitype workstation for the appliance of PLC . It makes panel completely occluded and suits the environment of cast iron industry .In addition ,the paper designs the menu of touch panel which is designed using the KingView. The menu which controls Drawing Mechanism and Cutting Mechanism can be arranged into the same touch panel. Operator can transmit the crafts parameter to PLC which can control the production process .
