1, 4,4'-diphenyoxy-diphenyl sulfone (DPODPS) was synthesized by reaction of phenol with bis (4-chlorophenyl)sulfone in four different solvent systems in the presence of NaOH. The monomer has been characterized by FT-IR,MS,1H-NMR etal.. The results indicate that the reaction of synthesizing DPODPS has good reproducibility in four solvent systems and high yield. DPODPS with melting point within three degrees can be obtained,purified by recrystal.2, 4,4'-diphenyoxy-diphenyl sulfone (DPODPS) was synthesized by reaction of phenol with bis (4-chlorophenyl)sulfone in tetramethylene sulfone in the presence of NaOH.Two poly(aryl ether sulfone ether ketone ketone)s with high molecular weight were prepared by low temperature solution polycondensation of DPODPS and terephthaloyl chloride(TPC) or isophthaloyl chloride(IPC) respectively,in 1,2-dichloroethane and in the presence of aluminium chloride(AlCl3) andN-methylpyrrolidone(NMP).The resulting polymers were characterized by various analytical techniques,such as FT-IR,1H-NMR, DSC, TG and WAXD techniques.The results show that the Tg and Td of PESEKKs are much higher,but the Tm are lower than those of poly(aryl ether ketone ketone) (PEKK).The other results indicate that PESEKKs exhibit excellent thermostabilities in air at 300±10℃ and good solubilities.3,The paper studied the structure and properties of PESEKK that prepared by four different methods by FT-IR , DSC, WAXD etc.. The results showed that PESEKK prepared by low temperature polycondensation reaction was half-crystalline polymer,and the amorphous portion was soluble to the highly polar solvents, such as DCE; half-crystalline polymer quenched after fusion became amorphous;legging after fusion can't improve the crystallinity of the polymer, but the amorphous portion was oriented and thus there was strong peaks at 4000-1700cm-1 region in FT-IR spectrum; the polymer extracted by DCE for 2h exhibited higher crystallinity .4% Several poly(aromatic ether-sulfone ether ketone ketone)s with different end capped groups were synthesized from 4,4'-diphenyoxy-diphenyl sulfone(DPODPS) and terephthaloyl chloride(TPC) by Friedel-Crafts electrophilic polymerization in a catalyst/solvent system of A1C13/C1CH2C1/DMF, the effects of end capped groups on polymers' properties were investigated by IR, WAXD, DSC etc.. It is shown that the crystallinity of the polymers decrease with increasing of the carbon number of ester end capped groups,but the meltion temperature,glass transition temperature change little.5, Several poly(aromatic ether sulfone ether ketone ketone)s with different molecular weight were synthesized from4,4'-diphenyoxy-diphenyl sulfone(DPODPS) and terephthaloyl chloride(TPC) by Friedel-Crafts electrophilic polymerization in a catalyst/solvent system of A1C13/C1CH2C1/DMF, the effects of mole ratio of DPODPS:TPC on polymers' properties were investigated by inh, DSC etc..It is shown that the molecular weight and the glass transition temperature of the polymers decrease with increasing of the mole ratio of DPODPS:TPC (or TPC:DPODPS) .6, The crystallization behavior of poly(aryl ether sulfone ether ketone ketone )s (PESEKKs) with different end capped groups and different molecular weight in solvent system of DMF or AlCl3/ClCH2 CH2C1/DMF have been investigated and compared. The solvent induced crystallization behavior is related to their end capped groups and molecular weight. And it is shown that the solvent induced crystallization rate is slow and decreases with increasing of the carbon number of ester end capped groups, increases with drawing in the rigid end capped groups and higher molecular weight(inh larger than 0.7) .7, The mechanical properties of poly(aryl ether sulfone ether ketone ketone )/carbon fibre composite have been investigated. The tensile strength, tensile modulus , flexural strength and flexural modulus increase with increasing of the mass concentration of PESEKK in composite. It is suggested that PESEKK/carbon fibre composite has very good mechanical properties.8...
