The target of this task is developing a pressure-sensitive adhesive that can be used to a silicone rubber foam cushion .The pressure-sensitive adhesive should have good mechanical performance, besides it should have other special performance below: good comparability to explosives contacted in use, good reserved performance, no adhesive infiltration in inner of cushion, no residues when debinding, and it would be best that it has antistatic performance.Around request of the task, detail literature investigation and study was given on technology development of silicone pressure sensitive adhesives and acrylic pressure sensitive adhesives. According to the result of literature investigation and study, integrated it with our practice and request of the task, study path of the task was given, and listed the key problem that need solved in future, and the solving paths of the problems were given. The task's experiment project was formulated.In study on silicone PSAs, two silicone PSAs were preparated and DTA, VST, and TG was used to test their comparability to PBX PBX-1, JO-9159, JOB-9003. The result shows that their comparability meet method 501.2 and 501.2 of GJB 772A. PSA's peel strength to JO-9159, JOB-9003 and aluminum were 5.04N/25mm, 3.07N/25mm and more than 17N/25mm relatively when primers were olefin polymer film, but the peel strength were 0.166, 0.133N/25mm when primers were silicon cushion LS-1 and F2. The micro-morphological structure was observed by SEM. The result shows that there maybe three phases in the adhesive film: MQ resin phase, MQ-gum phase, and gum phase. Phase separation dynamics'theory analysis shows that phase separation was not only related to component, but it is also related to solvent's property. By experiment, a transfer process for silicon PSA to silicone cushion was developed, and the process parameter was established. The detailed theory analysis for transfer process was given and its mathematics model about transferring was established.In study on acrylic PSAs ,the contacting compatibility of pressure-sensitive adhesive latex BY-1 to PBX JO-9159, JOB-9003, PBX-1 was investigated by means of DTA, VST. The result shows that the compatibility accorded with method 501.2, and 502.3 of GJB 772A. Aimed at the PSA's transferring problem to silicone cushion, a new transfer process---wetting transfer method was developed. The result shows that the developed method could overcome the difficulty in traditional transfer process: foaming, poor adhesion, and difficulty of transferring. Analyzing wetting transfer theoretically, we found that in wetting transferring, solvent on surface of silicone cushion brought in three advantages: dispelling air on silicone cushion's surface, enhancing the transferring force and reducing viscosity of PSA. Peel strength of the PSA with different thickness was tested; the result shows that Peel strength rose with increasing thickness. PSA's micro-fibrosis was observed under SEM, and the causes were explained.Because of latex-type PSA difficulties in spraying and wetting on release paper, a solvent-type PSA based on acrylic ester was synthesized to substitute latex-type PSA. Its compatibilities to PBX JO-9159, JOB-9003, PBX-1 were investigated by DTA, VST, and its Peel strength was tested. In order to resolve the solvent-type PSA's difficulty of transferring, the cured-transfer process was developed and the mechanism of transferring was analysized. The cured-transfer process not only successfully resolved the transfer difficulties in that of solvent-type PSA, but can reduce residues of PSA when debinding.To improve the solvent-type PSA's performance, PSA's formula wasoptimized by orthodoxy experiment and equality experiment.Compression performance of silicone cushion was investigated after it was paperhanged with acrylic PSA.
