Research Of Mine Environment Information System Based On GIS

This paper carefully analyzes the character of mine environment information based on the status of mine environment in our country. According to the character of mine environment and function of GIS, guided by environment information science, database theory, and computer science etc, the paper discusses the design of system, analysis of database about system and establishment process of system, and use the OLE to integrate the MapInfo and VB, and originally construct the MEIS based on GIS. Through managing, search and analysis of mine environment information, the MEIS can offer visual frank decision-making and evidence to manager, the system has important instruction for development of mine environment protection. Taking for the HaiZhou mine in FuXin as an example, the paper practices and applies the MEIS.
