Effects of different storage temperatures(2 ℃, 10 ℃) , gibberellic acids(G A) , l-methylcyclopropene(l-MCP), ethylene(EH), CO2(18%, 36%, 60%, 80%) and O2(40%, 80%~ 40%) on postharvest quality of Chinese flowering cabbage were studied in this search..It was shown that the postharvest quality of Chinese flowering cabbage was significantly improved by treatment with storage temperature(2℃, 10℃), gibberellic acids(GA),1-methylcyclopropene(1-MCP), CO2 (18%, 36%, 60%, 80%) and O2 (40%, 80%~40%), meanwhile, high activities of POD, SOD, CAT were kept. At 10℃, Chinese flowering cabbage can stored up to eight days, otherwhile, after stored at 2℃ for ten days,it looked still fresh. After stored at 20℃ for four days, the level of chlorophyll in GA or 1-MCP treated Chinese flowering cabbage leaves was 64.19% or 94.26%, respectively, higher than that in control. The chlorophyll level of leaves of Chinese flowering cabbage treated with CO2 concentrations at 1 8% or 36%, after srored at 20℃ for three days, was 179.84% or 225.77% ,respectively, higher than that of control. Chinese flowering cabbage looked fresh totally after stroed at 20℃ for five days, treated with CO2 concentrations at 60% or 80% and O2 concentrations at 40% or 80%~40%, but high CO2 or O2 injury were noted after three days.
