| When allergenic pollen in the air increases to some certain, it may initiate the response in susceptible humans, Pollinosis. This type of air state is called pollen pollution. People who are allergic have been implicated in several allergic to react to potential allergens or are said to be hypersensitive to them. The prevalence of pollinosis has increased in recent decades. In order to prevent and treat pollinosis, the research on airborne allergenic pollen is necessary. Determination of pollen type and their concentration especially allergenic pollen in the atmosphere of highly populated cities is very important. This date proves helpful in the treatment of patients suffering from such diseases.Territorial and seasonal characters are two main characters of airborne allergenic pollen. There are some influential factors such as the type and quantity of allergenic pollen, ecological factors and contrived factors.In the study, we developed experiment method in order to decrease the losing of pollen, and we also investigated the flowering date of certain plants in Beijing and made pollen spectrum. These work ensure the study results scientifical and reasonable.We located Pierre Cour pollen sampler respectively at 40m height above ground in Capital Normal University and at 10m height above ground in No. 101 middle school of Beijing. In Capital Normal University, we identified 13 plant families and genera from Sep. 9, 2002 to Dec. 2, 2002, 40 plant families and genera from Mar. 3, 2003 to Dec. 1, 2003, and 23 plant families and genera from Mar. 1, 2004 to Apr. 26, 2004. In No.101 middle school of Beijing, We identified 22 plant families and genera from Mar. 1, 2004 to Apr. 26, 2004. A total of 1005200 pollen grains were recorded in 2003. There were two peak of Xylophyte plants from April to May such as Populus and Salix, and other herbaceous plants from August to September such as Artremisia and Chenopodiaceae. By comparison and analysis, we concluded that in Capital Normal University, the pollen types and their concentration from Sep. 9, 2002 to Dec. 2, 2002 were higher than that Sep. 8, 2003 to Dec. 1, 2003, and the pollen concentration from Mar. 3, 2003 to Apr. 28, 2003 were higher than that from Mar. 1,2004 to Apr. 26, 2004 while the pollen types were similar. Because of height of pollen collector, number and type of plants, from Mar. 1, 2004 to Apr. 26, 2004, the pollen concentration in Capital Normal University were higher than that In No. 101 middle school of Beijing, while the pollen types were similar.At last, some problems about the study on airborne allergenic pollen and related resolvents were brought forward in the paper. Although there are many problems of study on airborne allergic pollen unsolved, the prospects of study on airborne allergic pollen is very broad. |
