With the arriving of 21 century, environment pollution has becoming dramatically worse, and every country all over the world pays great attention to environment protection. In order to solve the problem of formaldehyde release from urea-formaldehyde (UF) resin that is universally used in the production of plywood and avoid the harm of pernicious materials to people's body, it is of great importance to produce some environmentally friendly resin adhesive that can replace UF resin. Therefore we put forward firstly the synthesis methods of two new kinds of green resin adhesives based on lots of national and international researches. We also symbol the synthesis and the solidification reaction with IR spectra and DSC graphs. This thesis consists of two parts: One part is the synthesis of glucose-urea , glucose-diurea, glucose-melamine, starch-urea resin and the other one is the synthesis of PVA-glucose resin. In the former one, the orthogonal experimental method was adopted to optimize the condition of the synthesis and the solidification process. A good catalyst of the synthesis reaction was selected after considering the storage convenience and the price. IR spectra indicate that the assumed mechanism is partially right. Crane equation and Kissinger equation were used to calculate the dynamics parameters of the solidification of glucose-urea resin. The result indicates that the solidification reaction is a first order reaction, and the rate of solidification increases with the increasing rate of temperature. In the later one, a novel PVA-glucose resin adhesive was synthesized. It has been tested according to the standard of PVA-formaldehyde adhesive. The result shows the major property has already achieved or even surpassed the PVA-formaldehyde adhesive.
