With the development of computer technology, the artificial intelligence(AI) technology is growing fast. As an important branch of AI, the expert system is a strong method in the field of engineering and technology. By applying expert system in injection mould, the efficiency of designment and quality of mould can be obviously improved, the period and cost of designment can be reduced.Based on researching the intellectualized designment in ejection mechanism of injection mould, including AI technology and expert system, a ejection system of plastic mould is researched and achieved by comprehensively applying object-oriented technology, database technology and fuzzy theory .The following points are finished in the dissertation: The dissertation summarizes the current development of the injection mould CAD field, and expatiates the direction and the current research of the expert system. The collectivity solution and the key technologies are established based on the particular analysis of the ejection mechanism. The undoubted knowledge in ejection mechanism of injection mould is analysed by applying object-oriented technology. , a reasoning model of knowledge is established based on intelligent object. To the fuzzy knowledge in ejection mechanism of injection mould, a reasoning model of knowledge is established based on fuzzy theory to acquire the appropriate ejection way conveniently. According to the idea of software engineering, the calculating formula for the size of ejection parts is transformed into programming code and encapsulated into module. The plastic propertiesand so on are saved in database, so designers can be free from heavy calculation and be absorbed in creative design activity with more energy. 3D parametric modeling technology is used on the visualization of ejection mechanism. Finally, these 3D solid models of standard parts are assembled into a complete 3D model of ejection system.This dissertation is just focus on one important part of intelligent CAD system for plastic injection mold. Its aim is to realize the intelligent selection for ejecting way of any common plastic product and automatic generation for the according 3D model of ejection system. Its research and realization have application and reference value for the development of mould CAD.
