The spontaneous combustion of coal of gob is one of the major calamities, which seriously influences safety production of mine. There is important significance for guiding preventing and putting out fire and safety production that marking off danger zero of coal spontaneous combustion in gab exactly and doping coal burning period and the distributing chart of high temperature spot. First, the discourse simulated coal spontaneous combustion by the XK-III experiment station of coal spontaneous combustion, quantificational calculated characteristic parameters which reflect the degree of coal spontaneous combustion, such as oxygen consumption & heat conduction coefficient and coal burning period. Second, the discourse amended determinant method of danger zero of coal spontaneous combustion and applied it and prognosticate method of coal spontaneous combustion. It marked off the distribution chart of oxygen concentration & coal ply & air leak intensity by locale observation and academic calculation. According the calculated ultimate parameter, it also marked off the danger zero chart of coal spontaneous combustion in gob and calculated the limited velocity of working face. Then it doped out the coal spontaneous combustion degree in 2268# gob of shi zui shan 2# mine with the two methods which was validated by the locale practice. The determinant and prognosticate result which are disposed with resemble simulation can be applied in other similar gab and guide preventing and putting out a fire. Finally, the discourse introduced the method that is applied to put out a fire with colloid.
