Circulating Fluidized Bed Flue Gas Desulfurization (CFB-FGD) is a suitable Flue Gas Desulfurization technology in China with advantages of simple process , small aera required , low investment and utilizable by-products . The desulfurization efficiency of this technology can reach 90% or above at low calcium/sulfur ratio , near or equal to that of wet desulfurization technology . The technology can be used not only for large boilers but also for middle or small boilers in flue gas desulfurization . When a CFB-FGD system needs to be designed and calculated , the designer often do excessive and repeating works with low efficiency due to the complication of various devices , different kinds of coal and exchanging flue gas quantity etc. Using computer as a aided tool and creating a special used software in CFB-FGD design and economy analysis will premote working efficiency , provide better design condition , lower working intension and also can boost CFB-FGD technology to be used widely . This paper introduces the principles , methods and some questions related with CFB-FGD system design , and the paper also details the method of vagueness estimating cost and computerization process of CFB-FGD system . Users can get the state parameters of every point in CFB-FGD system after running this software after input relative initial parameters . The software can calculate heat balance and material balance , give out system major devices and economy evaluation . In the end , Compared with manual calculation and engineering data , software can give out satisfied results with low error .
