Research On Equipment Configuration Of Urban MSW Transfer System

At present , landfill , compost and incineration are still main means of municipal solid waste (MSW) treament , which have limitation and acute incompletions . The most influence is that MSW disposal facilities bring sanitary environment for people , but become the site of gathering pollutant at the same time . As a result , the urban residents have repellance to the facilities , on the other hand , they are necessary material basis for city system . Especially with MSW treament terminal facilities more far from the center of city , more and more attention is focused on MSW transfer station as hardware facility of city environmental management .The management of transfer system being made up of transfer station plays an important role in urban environment management . Based on logistics management theory , equipment configuration of MSW transfer system is studied in the paper , the body of which is made up of six chapters . The first chapter gives a general introduction,which has introduced background of the research and reviewed some studies on solide waste management system at home and abroad . According to environment engineering , MSW transfer technics in our country are studied in the second chapter . The next chapter cites the concept of logistics system and analyses the social logistics characteristic of MSW transfer system . The fourth chapter is the main part of the research , which has made an analysis on equipment rationa configuration of MSW transfer system and constructed maths model . The following chapter is an applied research . The last chapter gives a conclusion of the study and the weakness of sutdy is pointed out .MSW management is an important part of urban environmental management . The research not only integrates urban MSW treatment system , but also provides science decision-making for urban manager .
