This article concentrates mostly on the ways of establishing hydraulic power support with three-dimension modeling softwares, at the same time 3-D model of some type hydraulic power support is also set up. The characteristic of configuration of 3-D model of hydraulic power support of ZY8640/25. 5/55 and hydraulic power support of ZFS6800/18/35and , their barycenters , and distance between coal wall and their canopys are discussed . the research on clearance in high hydraulic power support indicate its influence on stability;the nonlinear simulation analysis on eccentricity and center load of leg and ram showed that this research could optimize design and improve the reliability of the design. The finite element analysis on hydraulic power support provided a quick and efficient way of strength analysis on design of hydraulic power support.
