With the rapid development of high yield and high efficiency combined mining technology, research on the security problems of the coal mine support equipment is very necessary. In the combined mining technology field,the hydraulic support, which acts as a as support equipment, is the key factor to realize the comprehensive mechanization of combined mining.This Paper analysis the hydraulic design, Production and use status.Pointed out the development trend of the hydraulic support.it introduced the hydraulic classification, characteristics, design elements and the common structure. meanwhile, noting the problem that exists in the traditional design process of the hydraulic support, and apply three-dimensional solid model design, kinematics simulation and finite element analysis in the design process of the hydraulic support.Take the shield coving hydraulic support as the research object, using the Pro/E software to design its3D mechanical structure and simulate kinematic status, under the requirement of basic parameters,establish3D model as well as the mutual relationship between the various parts, simply the model appropriately, choose the finite element analysis software, deal with the contact surface between the various parts, mesh on the support beam and carry out the static strength analysis deeply.This article through the establishment of two different mathematical model of hydraulic support beam to the top of the trajectory is studied and analyzed, and draw some useful conclusions:in mechanical optimal design process, the mathematical model set up reasonable or not is very important, the optimization method of different although may decide to the process of calculation and simplified, and the speed of the speed, even the discretion of the precision, but the same design object can be because of the different mathematical model, and get the optimal solution of the different, the optimization results is different.Applying CAE in hydraulic powered support, using finite element Method(FEM), solving with computer, which can afford more overall, more accurate data Of all nodal Points of hydraulic Powered support, and can demonstrate displacement and Stress of all elements or nodal Points with figure, also get more data than laboratory test. Further more, it is faster, more economic than the traditional test, favorable to the overall optimization design of hydraulic Powered support. Accordingly, the weight of the equipment and manufacturing cost can be reduced by a relatively large margin.
