Comprehensive mechanized coal mining is a key method which accelerating the development of coal industry, improving the coal production capacity sharply and realizing the modernization of coal industry development strategy. It is the development direction of coal industry technology which of high efficiency, large output, low production cost, and it can reduce the labor intensity of staff. Hydraulic support is one of the most important equipment in comprehensive mechanized coal mining equipments, it is used for supporting roof, removing coal cutter and transport machine, its safety and reliability directly influence on safety in the comprehensive mechanized coal mining surface. In this paper, according to the conditions of 5-2 coal seam roof in Zhao Jia Liang coal mine, the development and design of ZY4000 shielded hydraulic support and the research of the finite element simulation analysis and optimization technology are carried out, in order to provide reference for improving the comprehensive performance and structure improvement of hydraulic support.This paper summarizes the working principle and type characteristics of the hydraulic support, and analyzes the stress status of the hydraulic support frame based on the concentrated load. By using of the modern hydraulic support design technology, the design of the hydraulic support type, the design method of the four - bar linkage mechanism and the structure type of part which belongs to the hydraulic support are determined, development and design of ZY4000 shielded hydraulic support is completed.Making use of the three - dimensional design software of PRO / E, the three - dimensional solid model of the key components of the hydraulic support are established, such as the top beam, base and screens beam. Combined with the working height of the support under the experimental conditions, the three - dimensional solid model of the hydraulic support is assembled and the interference check is carried out. Avoiding the various components of the hydraulic support will not interfere in the movement.Based on the finite element analysis theory, the three-dimensional solid model of hydraulic support is imported into ANSYS finite element analysis software, and the boundary condition,material parameters and external load are set. Then, the finite element static analysis of hydraulic support frame and its components is carried out under four different working conditions, draw stress and strain variation law ofZY4000 hydraulic support and its parts, The structural improvement of the stress concentration and displacement in the support is carried out. The results show that the strength and stiffness of the top beam, the screens beam and the base Well to meet the design requirements, and structural optimization also reduced the weight of the hydraulic support frame, which provides the basis for the overall optimization design of ZY4000 hydraulic support.In this paper, the overall design of the ZY4000 shielded hydraulic support and its ANSYS finite element analysis and optimization method are studied systematically. It provides a reference for the design and analysis of the hydraulic support, instead of the product that can only be tested by the actual engineering test Performance verification of the limitations of the hydraulic support for the structural improvement and optimization, and has the good instruction function to improve the quality and performance of hydraulic support.
