During more and more open pit transiting to concavity open mining, people make much account of the study on the best slope mechanical configuration, which in favor of the stability of concavity slope. Rock slope stability analysis at open pit is an important work in slope engineering. In order to decrease and prevent all kinds of slope hazards at concavity open slope, it is necessary to enforce the research of stability analysis of this slope. This thesis relies on the Project of the Study on the Slope of the Concavity Open Pit at Jindui City. It analyzes the spatial force station and also optimizes the configuration of the slope. By occurrence statistics analysis of the joint and crack at little north open pit, the construction stress direction is obtained. The distortion regulation of inner slope rock mass is assured by displacement monitoring. It studies the slope loose layer range by inner rock supersonic wave measure of the slope. It ascertains the size of the construction stress by back analysis of displacement. By utilization of elasticity knowledge, it gets the relation between the shape of the plane stope and horizontal construction stress. On the basis of the field test and indoor calculation, a finite element model of little north open mining established by adopting the three-dimension software ANSYS 8.1. With the help of the software, it calculates and analyzes the stress state of the slope rock mass. By the study of the mechanical shape of the slope with optimization module of software ANSYS 8.1, we obtained the optimal open pit direction and the optimal slope configuration fit to the little north open mining. The thesis also analyzes the blast vibration data at the field and gains the law of blast vibration propagation and attenuation along each band. It accomplishes the stability analysis of every band at natural station and under blast pressure respectively by Tongji university software SLOPE 1. 0. This offers the guidance to the field blasting of the mine.
