Qionghai Lake is one of the biggest natural lakes in Sichuan Province. It has faculties of adjusting climate, conserving water, and preventing flood. Even more, it is the most important source of drinking water, scenic beauty, and it is the aquatic farm and the aquatic training base. Following the increasing activities of exploiting economy in around areas of Qionghai lake in recent years, the water quantity of Qionghai lake has descended a lot. Now, for sustainable development of social economy in Xichang, it is very necessary to make a comprehensive program to protect Qionghai water from pollution.It was based on repairing programs of lake water environment all over the world, inspected water quantity, evaluated the degree of eutrophication with the fuzzy mathematics model and found out the main contamination in Qionghai lake. Through work that researched and computed pollution sources in industry, agriculture and living, it worked out various pollution burthen and found out pollution sources which had the superior influence in the water environment of Qionghai lake. Based on above works and combined status of the social economydevelopment inside the Qionghai lake valley and factors of natural changing etc, it worked out a forecast of the water quantity in Qionghai lake and the excluding of pollution sources in Qionghai lake valley and pointed out the trend of the water quantity in Qionghai lake. It pertinently put forward a programming project about the prevention and cure pollution in the water environment of Qionghai lake and offered some scientific clues about controlling the pollution of Qionghai lake and management of the quantity of water environment.
