In this paper, some works have been done in the relationship between mechanical properties, processing parameters and micromorphology of Acrylic resin (ACR) particle with core-shell construction modifying UPVC.Though the test of mechanical properties of PVC/ACR compound, it can be known that the impact strength of the compound modified with ACR in 6-8 phr is much higher than with CPE (36% Cl) in 10 phr.The construction of ACR plays an important role in ACR toughening UPVC. In the core monomers must be polymerized totally and cross-linked. The content of cross-link agent should be controlled in 1 ~ 1.5%. The rubber core in ACR plays a critical role in toughening UPVC, too. The result of the experiment shows that the content of the rubber core in 70% should be enough. The particle size of ACR should be controlled in0.5~2um.
