Mine ventilation system optimization is a quantitative and qualitative decision-making problem about complex system which is composed of many integrating, interrelating and interdependent factors. On the base of summarizing and analyzing the research of present status of the mine ventilation basic theory , the mine ventilation networks analysis and optimization ,the mine ventilation system adjusting technology ,the mine energy reducing ,the paper puts forward the viewpoint that the modern system theory should be introduced into the conception of mine ventilation system and mine ventilation optimization should be divided into outside and inside optimization. According to the analyzing the status quo, Grey Relational Analysis Method is selected to be the optimization means of the paper's scheme .Medium and small-sized mines in south of China are the investigation subject of the thesis. According to their characters, on the base of synthesis consideration of the four factors technical feasibility, economy rationality, safe reliability and management, the paper establishes a set of new mine ventilation system evaluating indicators system. And borrowing ideas from predecessor's research findings, the thesis defines the evaluating indicators' weighted.In order to get the essential basic information for ventilation system optimization, besides detailedly investigating and measuring, the paper uses the computer to simulate the whole mine ventilation system. Practise indication that the computer simulation is a simple and useful way of investigating ventilation system.After detail investigation and analysis, the thesis makes an all-round evaluation for the Suyi mine, and disclose the main problem existed, then put forward several programs to solve it. And computer is used to simulate the result of the programs, then Grey Relational Analysis Method is also used to optimize the programs, finally get the best program for theSuyi mine.The optimization of ventilation system is achieved finally through the scheme optimization selection, which directs practical work, and the remarkable social and economic benefits are gained.
