The relationship between the fabric which is one of the necessity and the mankind has no longer stayed that the mankind depends on the physical characteristics of the fabric, the impact of the fabric and the mankind has already receive more and more attention. A lot of studies on people sensory, mental, physiological and comfortable emerge. Subjective evaluate begins to be take into account.The investigators within the country and abroad have obtained a lot of fruits on the subjective evaluate from 1980's. Subjective trial method has already become research hotspot in a lot of lines, such as foodstuff, cosmetic, auto, etc. The reason why the subjective evaluate technique is used so widely is that sensory evaluate is close to the direct sense, and it can measure expediently. As far as textile and garment industry isconcerned, subjective test environment is fitter to the actual wear state, and can test people's truly reaction in specifically state.The paper chooses the close-fitting fabric as the study object, and mainly discuss its handle and tactile comfort. Its sensory and instrumental fabric characteristics are studied. Tactile comfort influenced the people most directly among all of the fabric comforts. Whether people feel tactile comfort decide dresser's total comfort state. Fabric handle is the generalization of fabric touch character. It is one of the most important factors, which influence the wear performance of fabric. Fabric handle influences consumer's fancy and his evaluate to the product practicability, at last influence the shopkeeper's garment vendition.The paper develops a standardized hand evaluation methodology, which is checked for its sensitivity and reliability and used to characterize ten close-fitting fabrics. A labeled magnitude scale of comfort is developed using 35 consumers magnitude estimates of the semantic meaning of verbal phrases denoting different levels of comfort/discomfort. The sensitivity and reliability of the new comfort scale is assessed in image-based stimuli and practicality stimuli, and the scale is then used by consumers to rate the tactile comfort of the ten gloves.The experiment conclusion of thesis was obtained by planning experiment, collection data, analyzing data. The subjective/ impersonal handle data and comfort data are analyzed with a principal componentsanalysis. Multiple regression analyses are performed using the componentscores to predict consumer comfort from the sensory and instrumentaldata.
