Interior finish materials as one of the important new building materials become more and more popular. Its flammability has great influence on fire occurrence, development, propagation and hazard consequence. It's significant for materials' safe application and building fire prediction and control to scientifically know flammability of interior finish materials. In this article, flammability of several typical interior finish materials was studied by CONE. Heat release, ignition, and mass loss etc. of these materials are obtained at different heat flux. Meanwhile, wallpaper, one of these materials, was chosen as a special material what has been measured in ISO ROOM (Room/Corner test). Based on contrast experiment and correlative data, classical formula of materials' ignition time, total heat release and rate of CO2 were developed. Based on flammability parameters of interior finish materials selected in this article, finish material fire in single room was simulated by CFAST software edition 3.1.7, suggest that different materials has different influence on interior fire. Combined with ignition criterion of interior finish materials in different heat flux, parameters such as upper layer temperature, lower layer temperature and fume height and so on are predicted what happened before flashover in fire. Study shows that data between CONE and ISO ROOM has good dependence and can approximately reflect materials' burning behavior in fire. Thus, it's possible to evaluate fire hazard of material by data from CONE directly. Different interior finish materials have great discrepancy in flammability and fire hazard. Heat release rate of normal PVC wallpaper is one time higher than that of fire retardant wallpaper and smoke production is 2.48 times heavier. During the badly ventilation, CO volume of normal PVC wallpaper only take 6 minutes to hit lethal equivalent. ACP (Aluminum-plastic Composite Panel) is not easy to ignite and its time to flashover is also much longer than floors and wallpapers. Substrate materials and nanophase additive content make great effect ion of flammability of nano-composites. As a result of simulation in single room fire we conclude time to hazardous condition of PVC wallpaper and timber materials is 139s and 132s respectively, the same time of materials selected in article is 150s what illustrate variant finish materials have great influence on fire development.
